The DrLens foundation is a non-profit foundation, for which the Dutch ANBI status has been requested. The foundation board consists of three heart driven, skilled members. Theo Lens

Initiator of the foundation is Theo Lens, musician, author, business man and documentary maker. Theo Lens knows from his own experience that a safe and warm home is essential for every person. His first confrontation with a homeless person in physical need, where he did not do anything to his own surprise, was like a wake up call for his conscience. "What kind of a human being am I, that I carelessly let a man suffer with his pain?" This moment led to the making of the documentary 'Home at Last' and the founding, named after his father, a family doctor. "Every homeless person needs a friendly word and hope to be able to find a safe moment and the road to dignity."

The warm heart, the hospitality and the social spirit of Evelien Lens is like a woolen blanket in the winter; a crackling fire to warm you up. Evelien likes to coach people and has been educated in various social and psychological theories. She continues to look especially with the eyes of her heart. Evelien has her own bed and breakfast in rural Heerde, where guests can restore and enjoy life in a peaceful way.

The foundation Dr. Lens Foundation was founded on September 26, 2018, by Mr. Eddy Dick de Jongh, notary based in Dronten.
