Fashion academy student Bas Timmer decided to take action after a friend's father died of hypothermia on the street. He cared that many people couldn't even afford warm and protective clothing just to survive. Sheltersuit's philosophy is that everyone deserves warmth, protection and dignity. That is why Bas designs and produces multifunctional products that provide direct shelter to people who are homeless. This is not a substitute for finding a home, but an addition to when you have no other choice. The Shelter suit is a wind and waterproof hooded jacket with an optional sleeping bag attachment for instant shelter made from high quality, breathable tent fabric designed to be worn in cold climates.
